Water Resistant
With an equilibrium water absorption of just 0.40% at 23 °C, PolyLite ASA resists moisture uptake that can compromise mechanical performance in humid or wet conditions. The material is classified as resistant to weak acids, weak alkalis, oils, and grease, providing broad chemical durability for outdoor and industrial applications. These characteristics enable reliable use in garden tools, marine components, and other water-exposed applications without significant loss of strength or dimensional accuracy.

UV Resistant
In accelerated UV aging tests, PolyLite ASA demonstrated a color change (ΔE) below 5 and minimal tensile strength loss after exposure to 8 000 kJ/m², reflecting superior resistance to sunlight-induced degradation. Natural outdoor aging over two years resulted in a ΔE below 2.5, indicating exceptional color stability and mechanical integrity in prolonged sun exposure. This UV resilience makes the filament ideal for outdoor signage, architectural models, and weather-exposed fixtures.

Heat Resistant
PolyLite ASA exhibits a Vicat softening temperature of 105.3 °C and a heat deflection temperature of 100.2 °C at 1.8 MPa, ensuring parts maintain rigidity under sustained thermal loads. Its glass transition temperature of 97.8 °C further contributes to dimensional stability when exposed to elevated ambient or operational temperatures. These thermal properties make PolyLite ASA well-suited for engineering components such as automotive parts and electrical enclosures that must resist deformation in hot environments.
