Bambu Lab PPA-CF filament blends industrial-grade nylon (PPA) with chopped carbon fibers to deliver metal-like strength and unmatched heat and moisture resistance, meeting the demands of engineering-grade applications.

Key Features

  • Metal-like strength: 48% higher bending strength (208 MPa) and 102% higher stiffness (9 860 MPa) than PA6-CF

  • Humid-condition stability: only 2.9% drop in strength and 2.4% drop in stiffness when wet, versus much larger declines for PA6-CF

  • High heat resistance: heat deflection up to 227 °C at 0.45 MPa for reliable performance in extreme temperatures

  • Low moisture absorption (1.30%) ensures dimensional accuracy in humid or underwater environments

  • Precise 1.75 mm diameter (±0.05 mm) and mandatory hardened-steel 0.6 mm nozzle; 0.2 mm nozzles are not compatible

  • Manual loading only (AMS and AMS Lite are not supported) 

  • Requires drying at 100–140 °C for 8–12 h and an enclosed printer for optimal results
