PolyLite PLA Pro is a modified polylactic acid filament engineered with proprietary impact-modified additives to deliver both high rigidity and high toughness while retaining PLA’s ease of printing. It has a density of 1.22 g/cm³ as measured by ISO 1183 and a melt index of 6 g/10 min (210 °C, 2.16 kg) that ensures consistent flow through standard hotends. The filament exhibits a glass transition temperature of 62 °C and a Vicat softening temperature of 62.7 °C, providing dimensional stability during printing and in service up to these thresholds.

Despite its enhanced mechanical performance, PLA Pro remains sensitive to prolonged heat exposure above its glass transition and can absorb moisture; drying at 55 °C for 6 h is advised if filament appears brittle or print quality degrades.
