Activated Carbon Air Filter

Activated Carbon Air Filter
The Bambu Lab Activated Carbon Air Filter is a specialized filtration system designed to absorb volatile organic compounds (VOCs), fumes, and odors generated during 3D printing, particularly with high-temperature materials like ABS, PC, and PA.

How It Works
The filter draws air from the enclosed printer chamber, passes it through activated carbon media to remove contaminants, and releases purified air back into the environment. This is especially important when printing with high-temperature materials that produce more VOCs compared to lower-temperature materials like PLA.
Installation Process
-
Remove the plastic cover from the existing filter housing
-
Gently pull out the old carbon filter
-
Install the new activated carbon filter
-
Reattach the plastic cover
Important Note
This filter is not compatible with A1 or A1 mini printers, as these models do not have enclosed chambers with built-in air filtration systems. The activated carbon air filter is specifically engineered for the enclosed X1 and P1S series printers that require air quality management within their sealed printing environments.
